Our Aim

This 6 weeks course aims to help you to understand more about your diabetes, discover approaches that can help, improve your confidence in what you can do and help you make changes that improve your health and wellbeing.

Our Approach

Beyond medication – Our holistic approach addresses the whole person, integrating mind and body care to improve overall well-being.
We understand that each person’s experience with diabetes is unique. Our person-centred approach respects these differences, empowering you to take an active role in managing your condition effectively.
Our programme is grounded in scientific rigour. We provide the best possible guidance and support based on the latest research and evidence, ensuring you receive the most effective strategies for managing chronic pain.

Programme Structure and Content

The programme consists of six two-hour sessions conducted in small groups of 6-15 participants. This setting creates an optimal environment for learning and meaningful interaction. You will have the opportunity to meet health professionals who can give you information about diabetes, but the focus is on learning from other resources and each other led by our team of Health Coaches and Social Prescribers. As well as some of the ‘nuts and bolts’ of Diabetes we will cover activity, stress, sleep, eating well and help you to work towards goals that matter to you. By sharing knowledge and experiences with peers, you can form a supportive network to help you on your journey.
